We're here and we're tired
After little -- or, for many of us, no -- sleep, OADN left for the airport at 4am this morning. We had about a 6 hour flight, which was pretty smooth. Helen was sandwiched in between two guys on their way to a friend's wedding in LA, so of course she made friends. The in-flight movie was "The Family Stone," much of which was filmed at Drew or in Madison, so that was fun to see.
After we got in to LAX, we were met by a representative of the shuttle service we used to get to Ojai. We dozed and talked on the ride home. After exploring the house and getting settled, we went in to Ojai for some delicious Ruben's Burritos. We did a little driving tour of Ojai, during which I practiced my stunt driving in order to battle Claire's upset stomach. After that little adventure, we all crashed for a few hours before waking up to...eat... again. My mom made us a delicious home-cooked meal, w/chocolate cake for dessert (I know you're all jealous.) We sang our new song and "Ladyfingers" for my parents, and began working on planning our clinic for the high school on Monday.
After attempting to play a game, we decided it might be best to get ready for bed and maybe watch a movie. Right now, Sigourney and I are avoiding the bathroom traffic jam...
