spent the day with a spool of thread.
spent the day with a girl. with unkempt blonde hair. she had eyes of a distractingly clear azure and pink toenails. she wore smudged mascara that never met its mark as if it were a crown or a medal, something more dignified and glamorous than mere pigment on skin. she donned ruby slippers at just the right moment and when she got leaves in her tangled, cascading mane it only made her more lovely. she'd flash a smile and silver bell tones would drop from her mouth to the earth, ringing out as she laughed from the gut of her soul. we watched knights of a better time carry chivalry as a sword. we observed dragons flitting about and we saw every wrong cast away by those noble and true wielding the genesis of evil's undoing. when she obtained her little battle wounds, we dressed them with sugar and honey and cool february gusts. and when it was time to go i had not yet left. and i knew it.
note to self---> photographer's creedo: NEVER go ANYWHERE without your CAMERA, dumbass!
Last time I saw Anna, she spoke in incomprehensible, monosyllablic gushings. Now she spouts and proclaims whole sentences.
