lainie and i went to go see gardenstate last night. they carded me for the first time. so we called angie and went to steak n shake with her. then we called sarah and met everyone at jess's. it was fun. i love seeing them. on the way home elaine and i were talking and i wasn't watching my speedometer closely and got pulled over. :(. the guy wasn't mean, though, like people say zionsville cops are. but i got a $117 ticket for 46 in a 30. i was so close to crying.
i deserved the lecture from my mom. well duh. but what did put me out was that she turned it not into an irresponsibilty lecture, but a speech about how maybe if i didn't act, dress, or accessorize so eccentrically (oooh, black eyeliner), i wouldn't have gotten the ticket. which is far from true because zionsville has a no-tolerance, no-warning kina policy for traffic violations, especially for teenagers. anyway, she just turned it into a tyrade as to why i shouldn't be such an individual. blah blah blah. waynes here. gonna go.
