[He pulls back slightly to get a better look at her.]

You look good. Life outside the City has been treating you well.

I'd love to visit more often, y'know, but the City is pretty good about not letting anyone in or out.

[Life outside the City is a heck of a lot calmer than life in the City ever was, even with the ninjas.]

[They're like turtles... and ducks! And Penny likes both of those, so together they're extra cute!]

Aww, they're adorable! [kneels by the pond to get a better look at the cuteness] That was so nice of him, bringing a little home here.

It was foolish and reckless of him! But very thoughtful. [He loves his nephew very, very much.]

It has been a very exciting few months, even for the City. Many dear friends have returned home, which is bittersweet. [But mostly sad. Even with the curses, the City is safer than his homeworld, especially for Sokka, Jet, and Ty Lee, who throw themselves willingly into the war.]

And my tea shop burned down. But it's all fixed now.

Sorry you're losing people. It never gets easier, does it? But they could always come back; people have a way of coming back.
