1. "Hoppípolla" - Sigur Ros
Not sure really... all my friends liked it towards the end of last academic year and it is a really pretty song. But now it's joined Chasing Cars in the "used in every sad/moving montage on any TV program ever" group.
2. "Prayer of the Refugee" - Rise Against
Because Rise Against rock. End of. (I liked this song before GH3 btw)
3. "Not Enough" - Our Lady Peace
I don't think anyone I know has actually heard of OLP. They rock. I own this song because it was used as the BGM for Lita's "Desire" WWE promo video back in the day.
4. "Brighter" - Paramore
Paramore were recommended to me through Avril Lavigne's Bandaids message board... checked them out. Liked them. Then saw the video for 'Pressure', bought the 1st album and still love them. Also could be summed up in 1 word. "Fit."
5. "Heroes of Our Time" - DragonForce
Heard DragonForce on a demo CD from RockSound magazine. Thought they were awesome. This is is off their last album, which honestly is exactly the same as the last 2 but still awesome if you are in the right mood.
