Gah!!
Ok... so for the second day running I am still awake at 7am (time starting post- 06:52am)... Getting kinda hungry here... I'll eat a banana.
Hmmmm... tempted to tay up til breakfast.. but then i'll only sleep like, 3 hours til lunch... then maybe 2 1/2 after until football in the Union... then we're meant to be having a moviefest... will probably fall asleep during that, which I don't want to do!! But sleep requires so much effort... and I think i breached my sleep barrier (where after that point I can't actually go to sleep until I start drifting off later that day. As long as I'm doing something I'm fine... but once I stop being active, like just watching TV I fall asleep, which is why I'm worried about movie-ing...) Ah well we'll see... I'm gonna do the song lines meme while I'm burning CDs for Jenni and writing a brief update... (see below for memeage)
So... Friday night was post-exam drinkage, followed by free boppage. Bit of a mixed bag really... in the words of Stv: a Love Actually of nights. But I still managed to stay up til 7am... didn't get in til about 2:30 having trekked to KFB for disappointing pizza with Riho... then was in CR w/ Riho and Ales til about 4(?) And somehow between minesweeper and the sinner I managed to lose another 2 hours... before I went for a random wander to check what time lunch was and what we were being offered...
Crawled into bed about 7... I left iTunes playing, so about 12:15 Mark Knopfler & James Taylor's 'Sailing To Philadelphia' started drifting into my dream and at 12:22 I woke up, realised I had 5 minutes to wake myself up and get Riho, Jenni and Sean before lunch. We made it in time for pizza. Prosser didn't, which wasn't entirely surprising TBH.
Then Sean, Rihu, Weegie Dave, Fresher John and I went for a football session on the beach. It was good fun. I had a decent session in goal... not so great outfield though. Unfortunately, I managed to lose my room key while avoiding being kicked in the nuts by Riho making some excellent saves. After a shower to remove unwanted sand, Sean, Riho and I went to the union to watch the Sunderland game. We were going to have movienight tonight, but since it was Jenni's last official night here we went to the Union again. Most of us were tired/recovering from the night before. Jenni and Hannah didn't seem to mind... We came back to hall after the Union closed. Sean, Jenni and I sat in the CR with Ales and his friend Tony for a while. Jenni went to bed about 4ish. Then Blincow came in around half past so more random banter followed until about half six when we decided to call it a night.
And so now I'm here... there's an hour until breakfast. I feel pretty awake, I'm in the middle of the meme. I can mess around online til 9. Woot!! Feel the insomnia!!
