Camping.
There is no past time more fulfilling! For the first time in quite a while, I felt completely happy and stress free. No work. No bills. No dirty house. The ability to leave civilization. It was fantastic.
We did a lot of hiking, eating, and just plain sitting around the campfire and bull shitting. Patricks Point (California) was beautiful. The view from Lookout Rock is amazing. It's near impossible to avoid encountering beauty there. I got a lot of great pictures. It was also cool to see where they shot the Raptor chase scene from the first 'Jurassic Park', the cameras set up on top of Ceremonial Rock. It was very 'California', actually. Hehe. ^.^
I was worried about spending four days with near complete strangers (Old friends of Wade's). But a happy turn of events allowed Jeff and Allison to come along! And they definitely made the trip worthwhile! *hugs teh Greeley's* Spending time with them was a blast, and the thought of hanging out with them again is motivation enough to invest in a car (they live in Springfield). Gotta get those pesky credit card bills out of the way first....
Alas, I am now home. Back to my humdrum life...Back to the bills...back to the dirty house...back to work. Which means I should be in bed.
*sigh*
I miss camping.
Post Script: I had decided to delete my LJ account a few weeks ago. But then I realized that I kind of missed writing about stupid shite that no one cares about. So I re-activated it. ^.^'
