Mad Ideas

Recently I have discovered that hitchhiking can be done abroad (I hadn't had enough brain to 'invent' that earlier). So I have drawn a route that I would be very glad to try. It involves getting two visas which are quite hard to get lastly: Polish and Slovak. While I can simplify getting Polish visa by asking my friends there to organise an invitation, getting Slovak visa still would set a problem up.
The route itself is going to be like this: Moscow - Smolensk - Minsk - Baranovichi - Brest - Siedlce - Warsaw - Częstochowa - Katowice - Bielsko-Biała - Žilina - Trenčin - Trnava - Bratislava - Trnava - Trenčin - Žilina - Liptovský Mikuláš - Poprad - Prešov - Užhorod - Lvov - Rovno - Kiev - Bryansk - Kaluga - Moscow. I love Tatra mountains, but I have only been to their Polish side, having walked only several kilometers in Slovakia. Weird, nah?
There's another plan to run away hitchhiking :) It's a route that I have planned today, and it goes through Kaluga, Bryansk, Kiev, Chişinău, Bucharest, Ruse, Sofia, going to Skopje. The 'only' problem is that I probably cannot express any idea in Romanian (Bulgarian is still Slavic, so I can at least explain something). Visiting Bucharest and Macedonia would be great, wouldn't it?
But anyway, all of this is going to remain unrealised for one or two years for sure.
