Don'tcha wish you're girlfriend was hot like me ...
So Christmas.
Got me a train ticket back up to good ol' Rochester. Wasn't that fun.
Spent Christmas eve at my dad's with the usual crew. Ate a lot of amazing food (my daddy's the best cook ever) and spent some time with my family.
Christmas was a combination of my dad's and my mom's house. I got a lot of nice presents. Although I was very reminiscent of my cousin a couple Christmas's ago saying "You know you're getting old when you start getting housewares for Christmas". That was about all I got. Teflon pots and pans, a mini George Forman grill, a cheese grater, kitchen scissors, sheets, wine glasses, a space heater and numerous other practicalities. I did get a few fun things as well. Namely my new stuffed giraffe named Preston. I'm rather fond of him.
Although my best present was my boy coming up to visit my family in Ithaca with me. Every year my mom's side of the family get together and I'm usually the only girl without their boyfriend there. Well not this year. It was fabulous of him to come up. And it was very nice to be able to spend a couple days with him.
But now I am back in NP and quite by myself.
Although I'll be working the whole time. Can't really complain though. I made mad money tonight at the restaurant, so hopefully that will keep up.
So yeah, that's about it. Now to call my boy and get to bed so I can work all day tomorrow.
