(no subject)
This is bad...I started SORT OF seeing this guy a few months ago, doing the chasing back and forth thing. He likes playing it cool and not replying to texts, that sort of thing. It is a little complicated because I used to go out with his brother and they can be very territorial.
Anyway, I saw this guy Friday night and now he's texting me every day...just to chat..........only thing is, I'm not interested.
Now my friends would probably tell me it's because I'm too picky, and I have developed a pattern where I chase after someone then once I have them, I decide they're not quite good enough and get rid of them. Some of the time I'll regret the decision, though more often than not I'm better off without them but usually fuck up a potential friendship in the process.
So this is kind of the position I'm in now...but it's still too new to 'call it off' because there's nothing to 'call off'. If I told him, 'Look, I'm just not really interested, I'd rather be friends', he'd turn it around to make it sound like I was imagining some kind of relationship and I'd wind up feeling dumped. What a predicament!
Oh well, I'm not losing sleep over this so it should be fine. I'll wait and see what happens. I know I'm not going to meet my soul mate in australia anyway, so whatever goes on here doesn't matter in the scheme of things.
