"You know, I think that R2 unit we bought may have been stolen"
It is officially warm here in England! I did not wear a coat on my way to work today (or yesterday) and I listened to Belle & Sebastian on my journey = things I do in summer! It's still April!
Speaking of work, I've been meaning to share this with you for a while! Last year, a little boy of about six asked me if my library had any Star Wars books, we had a few, but I decided to order him some better ones in from other branches. I chatted to him for a while, because he was so enthusiastic and I could tell his mother was completely sick of hearing about Star Wars! We talked about which his favourite films were and which characters he liked. Anyway, I forgot all about it. Then one day I was cleaning out my tray and I found this little home-made card. I nearly cried. One of my colleagues had just shoved it in there with all my trash, without thinking to tell me (I know, I know, I should've kept my tray tidy!) and I didn't find it for months D:!

It was just so incredibly sweet and thoughtful of him and I never got the chance to say "thank you" and tell him how much it meant to me. I've seriously still got this on display in my room, it makes me so happy. :'-)
Other things at work that make me happy - we've got the Merlin series one box set in the library, I put it to the front of the other dvds on the shelf so I could see it when I was shelving. Haha. Up to episode eight now, I'm sorry I'm so slow! I've been watching Twin Peaks simultaneously! Has anyone been watching Castle? I've got the first few episodes, which I might watch this week, is it any good? Actually, I don't care! Nathan Fillion is reason enough for multiple viewings ♥.
My mum was clearing out a drawer on Friday and she found this old photo booth picture. It's so cool I thought I'd share it! It's my mum and I, circa 1983! I look absolutely terrible (yet incredibly funny!) but I think my mum looks beautiful. LOL at my expression in the bottom picture!
I swear I wasn't an ugly child!
