You don't draw that often? Crazy! There are a lot of artists who are revered in fandom whose work isn't nearly as lovely as yours. I am compiling a secret stash of your pictures as we speak. :D

I'm trying hard to rally people to the Nixa fanfic writing cause but it just doesn't seem to be working!! I guess most Nick and Blixa fans have far too high an opinion of themselves and their heroes to ever stoop down to the level of fanfiction, but it's like -- come on, guys, think of teh pr0n. *g* I got halfway through making a Nick fanfic community (ficcing_seeds) when I got busy and had to abandon it for a while. However I'm determined to get it started again. The world needs more Nixa.

Hee, seeing your interests was really crazy, cause not only were there heaps of bolded interests, but heaps of interests where I thought, "ZOMG I LIKE THAT TOO!" Sims 2 and The Handsome Family being two off the top of my head.

Re my journal: are you serious? Your journal is beautiful! I only recently changed mine because I used to have one that I spent hours and hours and hours on because it had a separate scrolling box and a semi transparent background and blah blah but it was so complicated it took ages to load. I decided I just wanted it clean and simple. But my layout skills are seriously lacking compared to yours. So you win at the internets. :-)

Ooh, so much love for The Handsome Family! I've spoken to Rennie Sparks a few times at gigs and I think I might have a huge girlcrush on her. Once I thanked her for signing my copy of her book and she said 'no , no, thank you for wearing such a lovely hat! When I got home I saw that she'd written 'may the bluebirds always sing in your lovely hat.' Awww! She is beyond cool.

Sims 2, eh?! I noticed that i_solemnly_sim was on your f-list too! I'm sorry I haven't updated that in ages...did you find that through my journal or were you already a friend over there? I do have a half-finished Part 5 on my computer, but it seems kinda lame, I might throw caution to the wind and post it anyway.

I'm totally serious! Your journal is gorgeous! Mine is cluttered (much like my bedroom!) and doesn't work very well on IE. I was thinking of re-doing mine too!

Gah! Way cool! Am totally jealous. Here at the arse end of the world, concerts are few and far between. I had to go all the way to Sydney to see Nick Cave last month which was ... well, totally worth it, actually. *g* But I don't think we're likely to see the Handsome Family anytime soon. :(

I had seen i_solemnly_sim before but rediscovered it upon finding your journal and decided to friend it. I demand that you post Part 5 immediately! Lame shmame. That didn't really work.

I feel kinda stink that my journal is so boring now. Yours is endlessly interesting but I've been hidden away writing all my holiday fic -- three exchanges, I must be mad -- and haven't allowed myself to update all that often, leaving it somewhat sparse. I guess I'm still a lurker at heart. &hearts

Yeah, I must admit that we don't get that many gigs here either, I'm not near any of the important English cities, and most of the bands I like are obscure and American!

I will work on Part 5 tomorrow maybe :D

Your journal isn't boring at all! It's gorgeous, honestly! It's subtle and stylish but definitely not boring.
