The Marauder Sims: Part 2 (Remus, are you a werewolf?)

Aug 31, 2005 18:27

Sorry it's taken me so long to get the second part of this story up, it's not as exciting as part three...which is why I've put it off for so long! Anyway, it's a bit on the angsty side *shock, horror,* but there are lots of new characters and more fun (snape dancing omg) to follow in part three, I promise (so please don't give up on me)!

You're so right, Patrick Wolf is definitely a bit Remus-y. I think he looks decidedly wolf life. I think it's the long-ish nose *squees over long noses.* I was looking at someone's user-info yesterday and they had a banner for some RPG or other, with a picture of him as Remus.

I think The Last Unicorn is my favourite film of all time! I managed to hunt down a copy of the book it was adapted from (yet more perks of working in a library!) and I only finished it a few nights ago. I am, once again, so in love with Schmendrick the Magician, I had the biggest crush on him (big nose and all) when I was little. I think it may have been because he sounded like the voice of Garfield, and Peter from The Real Ghostbusters. I always prefered him to Prince Lir, although, as an adult I can appreciate the merits of both ;). The film was really faithful to the book actually, they only really left out a couple of important, but complicated details (like Schmendrick being immortal - wtf?)

They're making a live-action film, did you know? Pretty much the same cast...(with a few parts juggled around). Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is playing Schmendrick, everyone seems to fangirl him (especially on RXS), maybe I should start? I must say I'm dreading it though. Please, please don't ruin my favourite film! *bites nails*

Have you see The Flight of Dragons? It's by the same people, (Bass/Rankin) and it's almost as good. I really hope you find your copy! ♥

Long noses are yum. Case in point: Thewlis. Mrrrr.

Well, I just ransacked my basement and I seem to have misplaced it. *sigh* I know I can't have thrown it away or sold it, so it's got to be hiding in an obscure corner of my house somewhere.

I hardly even remember the plot, it's been so long. Travesty! *looks harder and if all else fails, will download it* Schmendrick is definitely dork!sexy, which is my favorite kind of sexy.

Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. Start fangirling NOW. He seems to be a pretty good actor, though I've only seen him in Velvet Goldmine. (and ohmy is he attractive and vaguely spooky with blue hair and glam makeup.) I can see how people cast him as Sirius, but... eh, I think he's just a little bit too pretty to be Padfoot. Anyway, I'm always a little nervous about movies being made about my favorite books and things... I think I'll be heartbroken if this turns out badly. :P

I haven't seen The Flight of Dragons, but ooh, I've always loved dragons. And unicorns. :)
