Weird!
It's 12.30 and I'm desperately trying to make tapes to play in the car because my MP3 player died. I'd forgotten how parent-friendly Nick Cave could be. On the bus home from work I was lost and forlorn (due to state of aforementioned audio equipment) and so I picked up The Metro newspaper from the seat next to me. When I got to the cartoons page I found something rather strange...
I read the text in the first two squares and thought 'Ha! That's me,' and then I got to square three and thought 'Oh wow, it really is me' and then by square four...I was just plain scared. Although I might just point out that I am most definitely not a goth with a stripey jumper. I was so excited about how funny it was, but in the hours its taken me to scan it, it's lost it's sparkle somewhat, but I thought I'd share it anyway! It just seemed rather a weird, specific cartoon to be in an everyman paper like The Metro. Anyway, here it is:
So, this will be my last post for a while, I can't believe I'm missing the build up to HPB! I'll miss you all awfully...and I mean that, you brighten up my day [ /gush]. Extra special goodbye hugs for nightpig and _emeraldgreen, just because...*loves*
(I am so scared of a daddylonglegs which has disappeared somewhere in the last ten minutes I hope it died. When will I learn to shut my window at night?!)
EDIT: I just threw the daddylonglegs out of the window, along with a tea towel. I am such a Gryffindor.
