You thought I was excited last week? )
Yeah, Sophie doesn't look quite like the Sansa in my head, but she's doing a great job. I think you can already see the compassion shining through. And Joffrey...honestly, I have no words. The kid is just mind-blowing. His voice! And his actions. The bit when he turns to Sandor to mention the "wailing of women." Amazing.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one with a weak stomach when it came to that knife fight! Ugh! I'm fine with decapitations and limbs being hacked off, but for some reason that just didn't sit well with me at all! And yeah, my mind is not such a graphic place, apparently. And I think everyone was doing it missionary position in my head.
No, I'm exactly the same! Nothing has bothered me really. I mean the biggest changes I've noticed have been Cat and Sandor (aside from the Dany/Drogo wedding scene) but I'm fine with them pretty much. I would have preferred Cat to persuade Ned to go with Robert, but, eh, no big deal. As for Sandor, he's so much less terrifying...but I'm guilty of woobifying him to a certain degree anyway, so I'm one to talk! And I like this sad, rather jaded Sandor. ♥
I know everyone in Sansa/Sandor fandom is worried about scenes being cut. Specifically him walking her back from the Hand's Tourney and explaining his scars. If that gets cut I will be really, really sad. This is all based on some remarks made by early reviewers, but still, worrying times!
