So, it's the premiere of the final season of Lost tonight. I'm excited and sad in equal measures. As tragic as it sounds, it's been such a huge part of my life for six years, I've watched every episode as it aired and I just really don't want it to be over. The premiere isn't broadcast over here until Friday, but I'll probably download it before then. Below the cut are some musings and speculations about the show, I haven't read any spoilers, so never fear, you'll be fine as long as you're up to date.

I feel really torn. In some ways I hope that Jack's plan has worked and everyone is miraculously brought back to life, especially Juliet and Daniel...but at the same time I think I'd feel cheated and angry if that was the case. I don't know. The worst thing that could possibly happen for me would be that 815 never crashed and no one has any memories of the island. I'd hate for Sawyer to still be so broken. :(

I guess the main thing that has changed for me whilst I've been watching the show is that I've gone from being an ardent Sawyer/Kate shipper to actually praying for Jack/Kate to get it together and STFU. I think this will probably happen...but then I just don't know what they'll do with Sawyer ;__;. That makes me very nervous, as he's one of my last remaining favourite characters. I just want my Sawyer/Juliet happy ending, god damn it! Someone get a ladder and a wizard and sort it out for me. Stat.

My Dad doesn't even remember seeing Jacob at the end of last season /o\ I think we'll definitely be watching the recap.

I want to know why Richard doesn't age.
I want some epic war between Jacob and...that other dude. (I daren't google!)
I want to know more about the Smoke Monster.
I want plenty of Jackfaces and Jears.
I want Eloise Hawking to come to a sticky end and get eaten by rats or something. And then have a piano fall on her.

I wish I had something more coherent to say. I can't even think right now. What are you guys hoping for/dreading?

You know what? I only saw that fake trailer for Season 6 the other day! The one with the polar bears? How on Earth did that pass me by? If it wasn't for marcusjjordan I would still be in the dark. I'll post it here just in case anyone else missed it. It's really not for the squeamish though. I don't know how the opening for Season Six can top this for impact really...

Oh, and here's a Lost fanart meme I started before the premiere of season five, I doubt I'll ever finish it now, so I'll patch together the bits I drew...it's rough as all hell! It's also a bit out of date, what with the Sayid and Desmond awesome and all. Ah well! Warning, it's pretty huge!





Haha, I was going to draw Juliet holding her head in her hands at my choice of book...but I never got around to that. Let's imagine I did and it was awesome, yes?
