First Ever Photo Post

So...finally i have decided to brave the world of "photo Posts" (so I do apologize if this sucks). Well eric and i finally had a day off together. Work has been kinda sucking lately as there hasn't been a tonne :(. Oh well, I guess that means more time to play!!

Today we spent the day walking through Victoria taking photos (my two favorite loves: art and walking *smee*). Also, eric and I are putting in our names to the Sunday Market for the summer...and our plan is to have a "touristy" photo booth...so you might see some of these photos there!

First we started down Johnson Street...walking throughout all of the walkways and mini-alleys that I haven't visited since I first moved to Victoria.

They we crossed the street and walked down the stairs where a few painted people were hanging out.

Afterwards we just became mesmerized by the sculpture in the center of Market Square that I've always admired from a distance (usually when frequenting Fat Fedge's for a veggie dog)...but have never walked throughout. It was beautiful and so intricate!!

Then we headed off in the direction of OPus (I heart Opus!! - the kids in abbotsford used to tease me about my addiction to it) Of course...Dragon Alley, which I haven't been through in years and years (something like four years!!!!)

and while in the alley, I came across and weird rusting trunk. I love rotting and rusting things!!! Especially when they aren't mine!! (Christina once told me about a prof of her's that was obsessed with rotten apples - he once made a giant clear tube for a museum in Japan..filled it with apples and watched them rot. I love that shit!)

Finally the cherry blossoms have bloomed down fisgard - and man is it ever beautiful!! And of course - as a part of a touristy photo day - i had to take photos of fan tan alley.

and the cutest little barber shop in fan tan alley...one i kinda want to go to. Have you ever noticed how suck-in-time barber shops are? I have.

Well there it is!! My first ever photo post. I truly love this city :)

PS This was a good exercise to do when procrastinating - I really don't want to go to the gym !!!
