JOBS

I am SOOOO proud of Eric -- he got a job!!! YEA!!! He was interviewed on Thursday afternoon, and got the phonecall about it on Thursday evening. He will be working in Chilliwack at a Distance Ed place with the school district, creating digital curriculum using Dreamweaver - spice up the distance ed courses a little bit!
I am absolutely happy for him and VERY relieved. Eric has been working construction for the past month, and getting up at 4am to get to work! He has been so discouraged..and I feel rotten, because he was offered a job three days after I signed a contract here in Abbotsford. Anyhoo, the worry is over, and now we will both be able to make money and slowly save it - I really wanna go away on a trip with him in the next 1-2 years *(EUROPE!)...and now we both will be able to afford to go!--as well as start to plan for it:)!!

In other news, my parents are going to Egypt in a few weeks. I am really excited for them! It should be a blast! I know that when my mom gets back it will be "egypt this- and, Egypt that"...but that kinda conversation is so much better than my mom bitching about her boss.

Also, I have been taking a jewellry class for the last four weeks. It is really fun, and I adore the people that are in my class (mostly a bunch of lonely housewives, artsy guys, and one unemployed Postal worker/women's prison guard (she's my fav!) ). I just created a dichroic glass silver ring for myself, and I am working on this massive pendant with a huge malachite. I love it already! It going to be in the shape of a starburst. hee hee hee...

It is going to be a crazy next few weeks. Sherry (other art teacher) and I are planning a fieldtrip to the Vancouver Art Gallery (Picasso Exhibition!), Emily Carr and Gallery Row. At the end of the month, I will be helping with auditions for Drama's Christmas Variety Show. That should be hilarious! The Drama 9's are really starting to grow on me! So Cute!

Ahhhhh!! So much to do...and Christmas is slowly approaching!! Gotta run! Loves to all!
