first one little paw presses down into the blanket
all the nails push out, slide into the fabric
then the other little paw presses down into the blanket
as the nails of the first paw are pulled in, and slide out of the fabric
then the nails of the second paw push out and slide into the fabric
as the other paw lifts slightly off the blanket
before pushing back down onto it
and so on and so forth
