I'm still grounded. I was kind of pissed earlier because I thought my mom would change her mind and let me go to the Leukemia Benefit. I mean, she did take me to the movies last Saturday. And we did go out to dinner on Sunday so I thought that maybe I was ungrounded? But no. Oh the even greater part is, my brother was only grounded last weekend whereas I was grounded last weekend and this weekend. Lovely!
Whatever, I don't really care anymore.
This week was interesting, to say the least. Every day in math Rebecca has had a new story to tell. as;ljdfl;sajfasf
Wow... just, wow.
Valentine's Day is next week, YAYYYYYYYYYYY.
[Not.]
Oh yeah, did I tell you I hate our school? wtf is with these carnations for Valentine's Day? What happened to the roses? OH, wait, they're too expensive.
Also today Andrew Catalano showed me a video on his camera phone of a rat in our cafeteria. It kind of made me not wanna eat but by 7th period I was starving so I bought a bagel anyways.
Everyone is sick now! It freaking sucksssss. Jen has bronchitis, Ilyse has walking pneumonia, Susie has a bad cold, and Max is just really out of it (and was high on Dayquil the other day).
I've been talking to Denise a lot more lately. Just about things, you know. Things that everyone talks about but we've never really talked about with each other before. It's kind of nice. I'd never realized how similar we really are until now.
What I've learned this week:
- It's okay to break the rules every once in awhile.
- Life is so much better when you take risks than if you always stay inside your comfort zone, even if you have to face the consequences. That's how we learn.
- We're allowed to be a little rebellious. It's a right that comes with the title of "teenager" when every adolescent turns thirteen.
I don't know why, but I feel like smiling.
