greetings :)
hey kids! i'm back in o-town yay! i'm a little early for class so i figured i'd update some :)
i got here on friday and moved in and all. none of my roomates were here yet which was good cause i got first dibs on which bathroom i wanted and all. i got to see ryan on friday too which was totally awesome. my 3 roommates came on saturday afternoon. at first i didn't really feel like talking to them but then we got to know eachother a little and ended up just sitting in the living room and talking for like hours so it was good. their names are ashley, amanda, and pam. they are all from florida but pam actually lives in my neighborhood like 2 blocks away from me which is pretty cool/ironic i guess you can say. almost everyone in my building is from the south florida area. like tamarac, coral springs, davie, weston...stuff like that so it's kinda cool.
i want to take pics of my apartment/dorm thing now cause it's really cool. i thought it was gonna be really really small but actually it's really nice. the kitchen is a nice size and the living room/dinning room area is big too. my room is cozy lol not too small but not big either. i like it tho cause it's my own space and i can do whatever i want whenever i want.
i went out a bought lots of food now that i can cook. it's really nice. and then ryan gave me a brand new set of pts and pans :) they're pretty nice. so i'm all set.
i'm kinda excited to see how my classes are gonna be. i have english and developmental psychology. english will prolly not be that thrilling but i thinl psych will. i'm excited. i have class mon-thurs from 12-4 and that's it so it's not too bad. i also got the job at the bookstore here on campus. i was able to get it transfered. the paperwork isn't done yet but i'm gonna go in for my interview and whatnot since all that is like standard procedure and then hopefully i can get a feel for my classes this week and work my work schedule around that. i'm glad i finally found a job tho cause i hated not working and not having my own money.
alright well i have 15 mins before my class starts so i'm gonna go look for the room number now cause i have no idea where it is :) wish me luck! xoxo
