The 9th

I sometimes wonder if conformity may be the answer. Look at all of the people in the world divided by the tiniest of issues. Now look at all of the people divided by larger things, such as politics. Remember those sci-fi movies where freedom was traded for sameness? Maybe they are given an alternate type of freedom: they do not have to make decisions or even think. I might be rambling here but if you have read this far, I might as well keep typing.

Each political candidate thinks he knows what is best for the world. How can we know who to vote for (yes, I did register) when they both seem to spew rhetoric. They continue to rehash their ideas without ever giving a concise answer. Don't get me wrong. I'm all for democracy. If I wasn't, you'd here this from me a lot:

(To the tune of "A Spoonful of Sugar" from Mary Poppins)

A spoonful of anarchy makes the government fall down, the government fall down,

A spoonful of anarchy makes the government fall down, in the most exciting way.

I don't usually make it a habit of singing that. (Please correct me if I'm mistaken, hehe.) What I am against is the use of the electoral college. It is completly outdated. Why not let every vote count instead of letting our congressmen choose for us? They most likely will be making the decision based on the old and cliche principle "You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours." And please, no more pregnant chads.

For my last words in this entry I'll wax poetic.

Think of 2004

A year of war

So even the score

Kick W out the door!
