Busy busy. Last-last weekend I celebrated my 25th! It was really great, I had a bunch of my favourite people over for food and cake and laughs. Burfdl and Dowell obviously and Temjin, Murries, Allie, Haydxn+Kat, Steve+Amy, Wolven and Dusk. I went to the bathroom at one point and stopped for a moment in the kitchen to -secretly observe- and reflect on the fact that so many of my favourite people had come together for my birthday, it was really quite poignant. Also Murries made me a unique TF2 t-shirt with the Bonk logo

For the weekend just gone I went to visit my family to celebrate *again* with even *more* chocolate cake. My parents now have a big, hairy pig living in the field next to them (no, it's not theirs!) along with the two ponies. It's pretty cute for a big, disgusting beast! Seeing my nanna, aunties and uncles was lovely. The pronoun slips were a little embarassing but it was just nice that they were all trying for me.
What sucks at the moment is that Dowell is still looking for a job and can't get JSA while living with me and I'm currently paying for 2/3 of rent and bills so I may need to end up getting a lodger in to help me afford to live here. Which could potentially mean Dowell having to move out. I really don't want to have to leave this house behind and not *just* because it would fuck everything up for Burfdl but because I really like it! I just renewed our contract until April anyway and I'm going to wait a bit to see if any jobs appear for Dowell before looking for another lodger.
DnD was a bit rubbish last week because we started really late and what was supposed to be a quick, simple encounter before *the awesome bit* ended up finishing at about 11:30pm. Also one of the players (who's kind of a friend of a friend) was taking it all a bit too seriously and criticising the motivation of other player's characters for being unrealistic. What the hell? Who cares? This is after insisting that he wanted to intimidate another player into helping him even though they were going to help him anyway btw.
Games-wise I'm playing Fallout 3 which is occasionally hilarious when the AI behaves bizarrely. I also just completed Phantom Hourglass which is a lovely adventure and played through the more recent Prince of Persia in a weekend which was very pretty but on reflection fairly forgettable.
Less than 2 weeks until I join the Manchester Pride parade, can't wait :)
