Ok so what is the deal? Let me see.
Trans stuff... I went to the June TransForum meeting where they got someone in to show us some sewing tips which was quite handy as I have a few items of clothing that need stitching up eventually. Then the organiser invited to get up and tell everyone about my Pride parade initiative so I stood up and did my best to rally the horde. Got a few volunteers out of that which was great. Then I had a pretty interesting chat with a couple of people at the Indian restaurant afterwards. However one of the staff (who are used to TransForum coming in) accidentally called one of the transwomen "sir" and she flipped out and left :/ Bit unnecessary to have a go at him I thought.
Anyway I've drafted my application to the Pride organisers and got some great feedback and comments from my volunteers. Will send that off in a couple of days. Also done a couple more youtube videos since my last update, this one being particularly fun. And embarassing :D
Games stuff... I bought the Wrath expansion for WoW and did some of the new Deathknight quests. They've really made an effort with them, I'm looking forward to getting stuck into Northrend with Ash but I still don't want to powerlevel my way there cause the Outland content is still fun and mostly new to me ;)
I'm enjoying Team Fortress 2 as much as ever, especially with the Scout's Bonk Juice.
DnD stuff... I'm having great fun running my campaign. The players now know that the fairytale their troupe's play is based on could be a true story and there are people interfering and trying to get them to tell the true story as well as someone who seems determined to stop them. In last night's session I did something I've been wanting to do for a while. As they were travelling to the capital, 10 people in two ox-drawn wagons, 2 people on a horse, 1 on a pony and one on her pet riding dog... they lost control of the speed of their mounts and heard the voice of one of their enemies who told them that if they dropped below a certain speed the wagons and animals would explode. Also if the number of people on each vehicle changed they would explode. Also the bridge 10 minutes ahead was collapsed and there was another wagon heading in the opposite direction. Yes, it was Speed-on-horses. I'm seeing a lot of creativity from the players which is really great.
Other important stuff has happened but I left it too long since my last update and now this post is too long.
