Flu Shots And Filets
Kickin' And Screamin' So here's the story. Last Saturday, I went to get a Swine Flu vaccine in fear that I might die next week. That and the rampant nag of endless voicemail from my sister got the better of me. She was stationed and volunteered as a nurse to give injections at Oakton Community Center and I had to travel all the way to the burbs to let her "SHOT" me. So I went and got there around 12PM (set up an appointment at 3PM) and almost got kicked out coz I was way too early than I was supposed to. I smoothed my way through telling the front person that my sister is a nurse and I have to see her. He gave me a ticket and escorted me in to fill some paper works. No, I am not pregnant. No, I have no diseases. Yes. I am perfectly healthy.
After the grueling paper work, I had to get in to one of the rooms to get vaccinated. The line was short and I felt like having double visions coz YaYks! My sister was nowhere to be seen. I was actually nervous coz regardless of being "strong" and "fearless" I am actually scared of needles. And these suckers are HIPOPONORMOUS I tell yah. And so it was my turn to get "SHOT" and before anything happens, if I die and in that moment will be my last breath, my sister should be responsible for killing me and be there when I say my goodbye. I muster up the courage and ask the nurse if she knew any Anne Pineda working there as a nurse but she is just one snob old cranky lady! Thank goodness the knight and shinning armor beside the lady butt in and told me that maybe my sister was in the other room giving shots to toddlers. Pheweh. I don't care if I am reduced to being a toddler but my sister has to get me my shot! Did I get myself vaccinated or what? Before I tell you that, please take time and watch the video. The horrors you hear of kids screaming for their life, not wanting to be injected. Okay, I may be exaggerating but it was rather amusing to see all this spectacle last Saturday afternoon.
Oh hells yes! I got my self a boo boo shot and I am now healed. Or so infected. Or whatever. I got the H1N1 vaccine and lets hope I am not going to turn into a zombie a month from now.
I had to wait for my sister after she gets done with her shift around 1 PM to hang out and grab a quick bite before I went off to go to another party. But she insisted to let me stay at her place and do all my hair and make up and even lend me her jewelry and dress. Oh man it's good to so spoiled ain't it?

Getting a N1H1 = OMG It felt like death
This was taken at Hotel Continental for my friend's Christmas party for her firm at ARCON. Of course everyone who knows me can figure out that I can't afford going there so I am thankful that I was invited. To all you lurkers out there, you know who you are. The ones who tease and constantly bereft my dignity for being so obsessed with Prison Break, you can just suck it! Lolz. This just needs to be posted here. I have never seen a Filet Mignon up close and personal so I just want to take a moment and just stare at it and just be happy for staring at it some more.
Dang this is getting long. Went Christmas shopping with Mel on Sunday. She will kill me if I won't post any pictures so here it is. (PS. Unfortunately I lost my digital cable to connect my camera to my computer. All the pictures you see here are from my camera phone and not my digital camera).
gennagurl did you get my text message? I am giving this for free on the STGD community. Hurry before I change my mind. I haven't seen it yet and you never know if a day or two from now, my stubbornness will fade away and I will finally watch it! Its brand spankin' new and never been open. It took me awhile to decide and buy it. If you have time, can you and the gals at the STGD to come up with an activity and get that community on the roll? I am still doing some shopping over the weekends and I'll buy more stuff to give.
