Finally I got a project done that was due tomorrow and still sitting here in my PJ's, no shower, starved, waiting for fionathebinona  to get online. I will get to read some entries and hope I can keep up reading all posts that I missed tonight. I have ( Read more... )

You're giving me midterms flashbacks. O_o

Lucky bum with two costumes for Halloween. I feel your pain for blowing to much on costumage though, I made a pirate costume 3 years ago and still wear it because I need to get milage out of the darn expensive thing.

*Iz ashame* Its actually not a school project but rather a poster project that will be featured in an event on Wednesday. I guess I was just too lazy to take a shower this morning! Lolz. Have you had those days? Where you just want to sit on your couch and watch tv all day and eat pop tarts? Tehehee.

I know! My first plan was supposed to be the "Willis Tower" formerly know as the "Sears Tower" coz I had too many boxes lying on my floor when I moved to my new place. But then it rained too much last week and I feared that I will be a drowned cat.

LOLZ!!! At least you know how to improvise and make a costume. And speaking of costume, my friends are planning to go to Comic Con next year! Don't you live around San Diego?

The lay on the couch day is usually all day Saturday, then I haul ass on Sunday to get projects done.

I actually don't live anywhere near SD but I will probably be at SDCC next year. I went this year and it was RAD, like, mind blowingly epic. Since you are a Graphic Designer you should look into applying to go as an industry professional. It's apparently fairly easy to do (my ex did it last year) and an industry pass is free and on top of its a premium pass that gets you in all the days (premium passes are already sold out for next year btw).

Yay! Gratuitous SWC pics!

Tehehehe. On Saturdays, I usually hang out coz I didn't have internet but now that I do, I'll probably end up sitting all day in front of my laptop. That and cleaning and cooking and catching up with my shows.

You WENT THIS YEAR?! Woah. Did you dress up? My friend wanted us to dress up but I don't know. I want a decent photo when I take a picture with a celebrity! Tehehe. I think the Bones panel was there and a bunch of people I would want to meet. Although it would have been better if I was there last year coz Sarah Wayne Callies was one of the guests. I'll keep in mind about the free pass. But then do I have to make up an excuse that our company is looking for comic artists and illustrators then? Lolz. There's always a catch.

I didn't dress up, a lot of people do though. I didn't hunt for celebs either but I was around quite a few due to panels and meetings and saw a lot of very exciting things. There are autograph sessions though on the floor where you can get pictures and stuff like that.

Really, Sarah was invited?

You wouldn't have to give a reason for you going. You just need to prove you work professionally in the art/design/entertainment industry. Great way to network, you can have people look at your work and stuff.

On another note, also some rad shopping.
