i have decided i love my life....
so since last night I've grown to appreciate life a little more..
THE SAD STORY:
there is a girl who works in milton.
she walks to work because she has no car and noone to take her.
3-5 miles no matter the weather.
works as close to 40 hrs as she can a week and still goes to high school.
she is 17 yrs old.
has a POS mom who tries to put her down.
says shes an embarrassment.
she doesn't have a home.
she is a strait ~A~ student.
she is quite and timid.
she has no friends.
THE PART OF THE STORY THAT SHOULD MAKE YOU SMILE:
she is graduating next Friday.
she recieved a $100,000 scholarship to NYU(New York University)
me Shanna and amber are taking her to get her nails down.
we are taking her shopping.
i am cutting highlighting and fixing her hair for friday
Amber and Jayson took her to New Orleans for the day today-
- this is her first time going
- she is going the aquarium and the zoo and all that jazz
SO- it was Spring fest this weekend or give this young girl a weekend that she's never had~
i chose to skip Springfest and spend my money on something that actually MENT something to Someone
in my heart i feel like this young girl deserves this.
i gave her a hug yesterday and it made me feel so good~!
i laid down my head last night and prayed for her...
i felt so grateful for everything i had and all the family and good friends i have..
