2 for 2!
Today, I got my acceptance letter to Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana! That makes it 2 for 2! :) I'm real excited.. I've yet to hear back from UIC and University of Iowa.. So we'll see what time brings.
Last night was homecoming.. It was a real fun time.. I enjoyed myself.. The whole issue with the lights in the cafeteria was kind of disappointing, and the music could have been a LOT better, but overall, I had a good time.. I danced with so many people, and had an awesome time with Elise too! But I cant reveal too much about what happened, because we all agreed that "What happens at homecoming, stays at homecoming!" LOL, and I think that's for the best! ;)
I am also really glad I didn't end up going to Ashley Zaucha's bash last night, despite how much I really wanted to. She had about 80 something people there, all underaged, and all drinking of course.. From what I heard, 5 squad cars showed up.. I'm not sure what happened, if anyone got in trouble there, or if the cops just got rid of the alcohol..
I did hear that 3 people got arrested before homecoming even started, for being caught with alcohol.. That really sucks..
I was supposed to go to Six Flags today, but plans changed because majority of the people are hungover.. so that didn't go through.
Tomorrow is Senior Ditch Day.. another reason I'm kinda pissed off today.. our Spanish teacher planned a debate for tomorrow because she doesnt think we deserve a Senior Ditch Day this early in the year.. and she's making it worth mucho points, and if we dont show up, we all get a zero, even if we get called in and excused.. That pretty much sucks, especially because its the last period of the day.. So i'm thinking about just showing up last period.. but we'll see what happens.
I plan on spending the rest of today bumming around and doing some homework.. I'm really ready to be done with highschool =/
