Exhausted..
This weekend has been a doozy..
Friday night, I worked until 9pm.. after that, I went out with a big group of friends to see the new Harry Potter show that started at 10:45 pm.. I kept dozing off to sleep during the movie, it had been such a long day.. I couldn't keep my eyes open.. Got home about 2 a.m.
Yesterday (Saturday) I worked from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and came home to chill after that for awhile.. Went out at about 11pm for Deanne's and Niketa's birthdays at The Mission club in Elgin.. it was a rough night, considering I got left behind outside by myself for an hour in the freezing cold.. I'm not gonna lie, I was really ticked.. but then again, who wouldn't be?
Today, I continued the working streak for the 3rd day in a row.. from noon - 4pm.. I got my hair cut this morning.. nothin drastic, just a little clean-up.. work was absolutely dead.. finished all my homework at work.. just been relaxin for the rest of the night.. its been nice being able to relax without the worry of unfinished homework hanging over me..
This week is a 3-day week because of the Thanksgiving holiday, which , I'm not going to lie.. I'm looking forward to.. nobody really appreciates Thanksgiving.. but hell, I think its one of my fav's.. maybe its because my grandma is the *best* cook in the entire world.. and I could sit and eat thanksgiving dinner for the rest of my life.. its great! =]
All of the teachers, however, are finishing up the chapters this shortened week.. in a way, this sucks because i have more tests than i can remember this week.. but, on the other hand.. this hopefully means we wont have much to do over the holiday weekend..
i'm exhausted, and for the first time in months, i'm going to get to bed before 11pm..
