Such a thing should not even be considered! I promised Kakashi with my NICE GUY POSE that we would be rivals for all eternity--such a promise must be upheld unto death! It would be a truly ignoble thing to break such a heartfelt vow by allowing one's Eternal Rival to die or fall into despair or ruins; the truest rivals are those who care for each other even as they compete, who strive together and against each other, who inspire each other to far greater heights than they could ever have reached alone!
This, my friend, is the true meaning of rivalry, to be joined in spirit in all things, to always keep your rival in your heart! You must compete against each other for that which is most important to you, including your rival and the bonds which you share.
As Kakashi's Eternal Rival, I shall care for him until I die!
