And inspiration hit...
I was just reading a friend from schools journal and I was inspired to write here. The only thing is his journal is on diaryland, so I can't even tell people to go read his shit. It was fucking hilarious. So it got me thinking.... I should write about real thing...Like instead of what I did today or whatever, although I'm sure I'll still write that stuff every once in awhile. Today though will be different
As your sitting there reading this what do you think when i say caucasian??? See I thought it meant you were white, but apparently it has to do with the bone structure of your face!! Damn Millward Brown and their stupid survey's where you had to ask American's what coulour they were!!! That made me think that caucasian meant white. B/c the other options were hispanic, black and all that other fun stuff. So we had this huge discussion in my Spanish class - really dont' know how it started, the teacher gets off topic really easy. So me and my friend thought that caucasian meant white, b/c he also works for a market research company and has to ask the same question. Am I really that stupid? Or do other people think this too? B/c I felt really stupid when I found this out. And then I realized how ppl can be so racist so easily b/c technically I was being racist by only thinking it was a white thing. And another question....why are Americans not bothered by this sort of question? If I was doing a survey for someone over the phone and they asked if I was black, white or whatever I'd be kinda pissed! Why does my colour affect consumer decisions? I dunno, just something to ponder about.....
