first JCS dance rehearsal-thingy-ma-jig today.
i was so fucking intimidated.
I CANNOT DANCE. let me repeat. DANCING IS NOT SOMETHING I CAN DO. well i can shake my booty (which is what i thought we would be doing) but actually dancing is something i am not accustomed to. do you all recall that infamous picture of yours truly trying to dance? how about i refresh your memories...
imagine this:
a whole room full of skinny, bendy girls who pretty much dance like they breathe. might i add that 99% of these girls have those incredibly intense and intimidating black dance shoes that you have to buy at specific dance stores that probably cost a fortune. plus, to match with their intimidating black dancing shoes, they have their dancing attire, which includes those stretchy, black lululemon pants. oh, did i mention that they are ultra bendy? like pretzel bendy. these are some EXTREMELY flexible girls we're talking about. they can bend their bodies into strange shapes, and all i can do is bend my finger backwards. oh wait, no, i can touch my toes too... barely.
HOW IS THIS SUPPOSE TO MAKE ME FEEL?
so there they were dancing away, freaking the shit out of the non-dancers (charlotte and tori included). we finally came to the conclusion that we NEED to start a mafia where we burn down the houses of all people that have mad dancing skills and sulk at the fact that they are just so fucking hot, while eating tubs of ice-cream.
hmm... ice-cream.
damn. i love JCS. I'M SO EXCITED.
P.S. IT'S A MUSICAL, NOT A DANSICAL. haha. that was our excuse for the lack of body movement skills.
