Seriously, I had the best fucking day ever.
Me and the Boy went to Busch Gardens for a bit of entertainment this morning. Holy shit, it was awesome. We got there like.. half an hour before the park opened, so we got to park in the parking lot right next to the entrance. We got in and waited for the park to open, and when it finally did, we went to look at the animals while the rides opened up. We went by the chimp and gorilla exhibit and of course they weren't out of their night-houses yet. Then we went to to see the two oppossums that they have, and one was eating an egg, it was fucking adorable : D. So then we went over to the lion and hyena exhibts...
AND THERE WAS A BABY HYENA. OMG, it was fucking adorable, I wanted to huggle him and name him Michaelangelo. Oh man, we spent like thirty minutes cooing over that damn thing.
Then... it happened, the most awesome thing to ever happen to me ever (except that time when I won those toys in the raffle for Christmas one year.)
I played fucking tug of war with a goddamn tiger. Fuck yeah. Me and the boy were over at the tigers, chillin' in the air conditioned viewing area, when we saw a whole group of people over at the tiger fence. We totally knew that they were going to do the tug of war enrichment activity so we ran over to fence and just kinda chilled. These two girls got to play with the tiger first, then the lady asked for two more volunteers. My hand shot up crazy fast and she picked me and this little kid. The Boy was all like "lol, go have fun." So I went up there and grabbed on the rope like the lady said too and everything, and the little kid got in front of me. Then the tiger pulled on the rope and I locked my knees and pulled back and I'm pretty sure we were in a stalemate for a second (I think there was a zoo lady behind me pulling, I'm not sure.) But, still, it was some awesome shit. Then it was over and I had a huge grin on my face. I was all like /flex for the rest of the day.
Then it started getting all stormy and we rushed to the car and came back home.
My day was fucking awesome.
I got some pictures with The Boy's phone of the baby hyena. It's so damn cute.
OMG, if I could have any animal, I'd totally have a hyena. I didn't even know that one of the hyenas even had a baby. We're totally going to have to come back with the good camera and take much better pictures. It's too cute to pass up.
