Farewell David. I'm glad you got your book finished as I want to get your take on what I lived through in the 80's - I still haven't forgiven you for Tomorrow's Schools, the direct fore-runner IMHO of the NCEA debacle, just as i haven't forgiven Prebble and Douglas for the pathetic asset sales of NZPO and NZR. Still, I rate you higher than most PM's I've lived through, and will forever respect you for stopping for a cup of tea, even if it was in injury time.
Just sorry you didn't get to see us do Australia last night. Then again, you probably had the best seat.
