After the fiasco of trying to see 'Avatar' last week we got wise and pre-booked seats for the V-Max cinema. I am so pleased we did as it was packed for all screenings at all times. Perfect seats, right at the back, almost centre. We saw it in 3-D.
So, for almost 3hrs we were transported to the fantasy world of the planet Pandora, and the Na'vi people. The graphics/effects were wonderful and despite having been told that the story was very weak, we enjoyed it. Some of it was predictable, some not. I can't see it being a classic, but it was very good and well worth going to see. If you like sci-fi, I recommend that you get to see it just because it's a lot of fun and visually exciting.
