The Start of the Weekend.
I can't believe that I am feeling so tired...really drained. Friday evening saw the end of an 8-day stretch at work, and I am totally exhausted. Last night was very relaxing. I went over to Andrew's and we really did nothing except chat and catch up. He has recently had an 8-day stretch at work also. We both do shifts so getting time together is hit and miss. We enjoyed a few bottles of bubbly and BBQ'd some lovely plum sauce chicken kebabs which we served with salad..sitting outside in the warn night air was very nice indeed. We were watching a movie, but I fell asleep and missed the end of it and the start of another! I don't really remember going to bed, but I know I slept very well. This morning we had bacon and eggs outside and noticed that it really was very warm, even at 08.30. We headed to the shops and got a few items then home where I managed to fall asleep again for almost 2hrs. I am enjoying being lazy and I deserve it!
It's getting hotter. We are expecting 35c in a day or two. The place is drying out rapidly and floral blooms like these will soon be screaming for the rain. I will enjoy them while I can.
