Saint Jenny Craig?

Once again we have sightings of the Virgin Mary. Previously the Holy Family have presented themselves to us in numerous guises. Jesus was seen some years back in spaghetti, the strands forming his hair. The humble potato was the perfect form for Mary to show herself, but I think she did get either roasted or mashed on that occassion! Chicago was graced with a visit in an underpass.

Then came the sour cream & chive potato chip! Yes, Jesus Christ saw it fit to appear on a heart shaped chip. (What flavour do YOU think he should have used)?

The latest sighting is Our Lady of the Griddle. Apparently the local priest has confirmed that it is a likeness of the Virgin Mary and it has been removed to a 'shrine' out the back of the restaurant. The priest is currently getting his eyes tested!

Make your own mind up what this looks like!

We can't pass by one of the most famous sightings when a lady was eating her cheese on toast and was stopped mid-bite by the face of Mary. I wonder if she was screaming in fear as those pearly whites came close to chomping off her neck. Personally I think I can see a vague likeness to Carmen Miranda, but what do I know?

But have you noticed a theme here? It's all to do with CARBS! Bread, chips, spaghetti, toast, cheese, greasy griddles! Do they have Weight Watchers in Heaven? Eat your heart out St Jenny Craig!

This one beats them all.
