An Abridged List of Things To Do Before I Die
1. Work for the Bread and Puppet Theatre Company for a summer.
2. Finish all the stories saved on my laptops
3. Publish a book (or better yet, several of them)
4. Learn to sail
5. Live in Europe for a while
6. Learn to sing better
7. Spend a year homeless, traveling around the world
7.5 See every continent and swim in every ocean (except maybe the Arctic)
8. Learn how to play Moonlight Sonata on the piano
9. Keep a journal for the rest of my life
10. Do a NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School) course
11. See one of my plays professionally produced (even if I have to produce it myself)
12. Learn how to play at least ONE instrument decently
13. Volunteer abroad, through Peace Corps or something.
That's it. For now.
PS: I've got 3 of 7 continents down so far, and 2 of the 5 oceans. Boo yah, making progress.
