(no subject)
I'm thinking about creating a new journal specifically for a story I started writing in December.
neirbobug kind of started it in my brain. We'd gone to see the midnight showing of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe when it was released in December, right before she left to go to New York. As the movie got out around two am, we were rather tired and punchy walking home, and ended up making jokes about gay fauns and goat dick She then wrote a wee little entry describing how utterly boring and depressing upstate New York is. I responded by telling her my favorite way of cheering myself up: reading gay porn about hobbits.
She then had the wonderful idea of writing fantasy porn about gay fauns. This started some strange alchemical reaction in my brain; creating some kind of monstrous story that is so far over 40 pages long and nowhere near done.
What the hell was I talking about?
Oh yes, creating a journal for this story. I dearly love reading multi-chapter works by people on LJ, even if they are about gay hobbits or the actors that play them in alternate universes... (I'll put in my plug for my current favorite, called _dilse, now, it's about gay lovers in Ireland around 1916...).
Anyway, I feel compelled to do this.
This entry is such a waste of words.
But would anyone read my crap? It would probably be more interesting than the dribble I post in this journal. There aren't any gay fauns in my life and that's a fact. And I do so love criticism.
I don't know.
We'll see, I guess.
