Like a month yo, but I'm back, doing my thing, taking Yale midterms and god knows what else. I now have newfoudn respect for Yale's intelligence. So I had midterms in Math and Econ this week, I'm a lil frazzled, studying a little too much for my standards, and not sleeping enough to anyone's standards. As it turns out, we overstudied, as the tests (both of them) covered ridiculously easy material that we sorta just skimmed over (we being me and other test takers that i knew) and so there's is now the high probability that I screwed up on the easy shit. Here's the catch: the test was so easy and the number of test takers so many that the curve is almomst guaranteed to be through the roof, so every tiny mistake that I've made will be magnified. Damn Yale, you are sneaky. I need to be better.
Speaking about being better, I think I'm getting a little sick again, and that just blows, and sucks, majorly (I like how blows and sucks can mean the same thing in several contexts and be completely opposites in others. The English language is tite.) cuz I'm planning on just going nuts this week and forgetting about this past week and how much stress I've been under. I think i'm turning into an alcoholic ... every weekend, or most of it, will require some late night drinking and partying, even as I fulfill my academic and artistic fulfillments through going to like student-directed musicals and lectures and shit. It's all good, I'll drink to being a good Yale student (slurp).
And by request of Toubs, Sam got his ass beat while being shit-drunk yesterday. There, there it is.
Anyhow, judging by the vast number of people who wanted to comment on my last blog (well, it was mebbe like 9, or 8 or something like that off of the top of my head) I'll throw out another one of these things for you all to enjoy, courtesy yet again of my wonderful Websterian friend Tina.
