So, I'm like...really tired. That's an understatement, but my brain is so...used that I can't think of a better word.
*COUGH HACK CHOKE*
Okay! That didn't help wake me up any. I just choked on a swallow of tea, for your information. I've decided that I'm absolutely terrible at steaming stuff. Nothing ever comes out right. Made curry the other night with help. I think it turned out well, if too spicy for me. Also tried Butternut Squash for the first time - I really liked it! It was sweet, but not too sweet.
I have fish now and I'd take a picture except they're always hiding. Except when I'm not here. It's kind of hurtful, that they hide from me the instant I walk into the room. :( That and I don't think they're eating. :/ I don't know what to do...
I just took my history midterm. It went well, I believe. There was only one question I didn't know the answer to, and that was the central belief of Islam. Except I remembered but I couldn't remember the exact word. It's Shahada, by the way. I think I put down Shanada, unless I erased that and forgot to put down an answer...honestly, I no longer recall most of my answers for the midterm. And I just finished it not too long ago. I'm working on building my spice tolerance. I'm doing that by eating spicy chips. -_- There has to be a healthier way, but I can't think of one since I don't want to go out and buy spicy food like...those hella spicy noodles I ate last year and had my mouth burning for hours on end. I guess one fast way to train is to eat wasabi every day with everything....except that's really disgusting and I just might kill my tastebuds. I'd really rather not kill them.
Right, so, I was going to talk about how tired I am. I would sleep if it weren't for the fact that I actually can't sleep... For the first time ever, I started taking meds to induce sleep. Specifically, Benadryl. It works - it makes me drowsy. Although the first time I tok it, it made me scarily numb. However, it only works the best once I actually fall asleep. If I'm just drowsy and trying to fall asleep, eh, kind of. I have to fall asleep for it to work. It'll make me so drowsy but it won't put me to sleep barring nothing. I still have to have relative peace and quiet. Meaning loudmouthy still can't be loudmouthy, as I discovered early this morning around 1. Here I am, lying in bed, almost asleep, and suddenly, "OH HAHAHAHA HEHEHEHE" -_- Instant wake up. But see, the thing is, I was super drowsy and practically asleep, so I never fully woke up. I nearly fell asleep after that until, "OH YEAH BLAH BLAH BLAH". At that moment, I was all "yeah, hell no" , got up, opened the door, poked my head out. Thankfully, I didn't have to say anything because she got the message. I'm afraid I would have slurred everything I said, considering how fatigued and drowsy I was. Before I even went to bed, I was already struggling not to slur. Anyway, I finally got the peace and quiet I wanted and quickly fell asleep. Unfortunately, like the other times except for the night before, it was a restless sleep. Dunno why. I wake up when my alarm goes off and it takes a second for my faculties to go online and I stumble out of my room to focus on not stumbling my way through the day.
Happiest moment of the day: getting to the c-store early enough that the morning line didn't form and being able to buy a bottle of Naked Mighty Man juice and a bag of doritos so I can work on my spice tolerance. >< I need a better way... Kept on falling asleep during ochem (bad bad bad) until he said, "You guys all learned about protection, right? What's the most important thing about protection? To be able to take it off!" haha He was talking about isometric labeling involving the 18F isotope. Well, for bio, heh, I was distracted again. I stopped paying attention a long time ago - everything he teaches is literally out of the book. :/ Sometimes, listening to him actually confuses me.
When I try to keep myself from falling asleep, I do one of two things: drink or chew gum. Or both. Today, since I had a drink and gum, I did both. Kept on drinking Naked juice until it failed to work and ended up chewing gum, which worked. Thing is, when I drink to stay awake, I need to pee. Badly. So I went, after class, because I hate leaving class in the middle just to urinate. Well, it was the fastest urination of the day, because I really had to get to my next class to take the midterm. By the time I arrived at the lecture hall, there were still practically no seats left. At least I no longer had the strong urge to pee. Until near the end of the midterm. I had to pee. Again. And I hadn't even drank anything! So after I turned it in, I rushed back to the apartment to relieve myself. What gets to me is despite all the excitement of needing to go pee but being unable to and then finally being able to, is that I'm still as tired as before.
I think I'll feed my fish soem bloodworms in hope they'll eat that. If not...well...I'll just have dead freeze-dried bloodworms floating on top of the water, looking like transparent poop.
Transparent poop...I kinda wanna poop transparent poop. :O
Note: I have the best boyfriend in the world. :) He tried to resuscitate my fish, Kochi, and although it didn't work, at least he tried. :)
