First off, anyone else find it as funny as I did how everything Arthur described as making Gwen the perfect wife also described Merlin? Yes! However it also described Gaius and most of the Knights. It was hardly a blushing romantic description was it? "Ah Gwen, what great council she provides, and shrewd too. Her eyes are the colour of the Land Agreement with Odin and her hair reminds me of training field on a muddy day." Touching.
Lancelot shirtless and wet was a particular highlight. This should be enough to forgive and forget any flaws within an episode, but they crapped on this episode so much it's hard to see past it.
Or are there deserts in Britain I don’t know about?) Yep, there is one right next to that Scottish Moroccan market Morgana went to a few weeks ago.
I'm not sure why Lancelot doesn't have his own chambers. It doesn't really make sense. At the very least we know the castle has guest chambers. We did skip the year Lancelot was kicking about the castle though, so maybe he did share Merlin's chambers all that time!
Grrrrr. I am with you on the rants. This episode was such a let down after the hope the first six gave us. Not the subject, we all knew that was coming sooner or later. I just hate how they handled the whole subject

I'm dithering about actually watching this episode now, because everything I've heard about it makes me think it'll only make me upset and angry at the writers. :/
I just watched it. And damn. I almost wish I hadn't. And here I was just about to believe that season 4 wasn't in fact going to suck big fat donkey balls the whole way. If one or two decent episodes are all we're gonna get, then... I'm not sure I can bear it. :oS
This is probably my most hated episode as well. They've done a lot of episodes I thought were fucking stupid but this is the first one to make me raaaaage.
