I finally did it I quit my job. I keep convincing myself by telling my hubby, family and friends why but they all agree it was a good decision. I have been here four years and have nothing to show for it. I am pretty much at the same place I was when I first started working here. Good for you. I'm about to make the same move myself, I fear. I've been teaching at the same school on a part-time basis for going on five years and I have no expanded hours, no benefits, nothing but a restarted teaching certificate that I will have to shell out money for in taking courses to keep it up. I'll be spending time this spring looking for something.

I am nearly in that boat as well. I will be at Specialty four years this coming May. If things don't change for the better by then, that should be my deadline to quit.

I will give you a call on the way home. I have no room for advancement here. She is so clueless about the job market. I found a similar job (I can't apply yet) that pays 6 dollars more an hour than what I make here.
