Please Help!
Haven't been around in forever. I avidly read everybodys journal. I am a lurker/voyeur by nature. Now flist I have a question. I want to change jobs. I would have to resign from my current position so how do I do that?
What do I say? I am in an office of two. My boss/attorney and I/slave/secretary/assistant/indentured servant. How do I tell her I want to leave. I would be leaving for a position that has better benefits, more money and I might be working from home. I have no health insurance, retirement or set days off. In the new position I would have these as it is a bigger company. I would have set days off, health benefits, etc.
So what do I say. I don't want to say "fuck off, see ya!" to her as she is basically a nice person. But I also really have to change. I am to smart to be working for a salary a High Schooler can get. I need something more challenging. I have to look out for myself. So what do I say people?
