Drabble #2: Lessons In The Matters of Love
Pairing: HeeMi
Rating: PG | Genre: AU!Fluff/Romance | Prompt: Scholarship
Summary: The body, mind and soul. How does love come to own all three? He asks this provoking question and is led through the potentials of what love is.
-
"What's the difference when someone owns your heart versus owning your soul?"
Heechul arched an eyebrow at Zhou Mi's abrupt question, turning his head as he sat beside him. "What brought that on?"
"Every confessions in those romance movies-"
"I told you to stop watching them."
"-Involve the phrase. 'You own my heart, body and soul.' Something along those lines."
Heechul bit his bottom lip, thinking of how to explain it. "It's... an intimate thing. When you give up your soul, it's like now you have all of me." He narrowed his eyes, ignoring the pleased look in the other from his words.
Zhou Mi resumed his confused look. "But the heart isn't all of it?"
"The heart is physical, when you own the soul. It says you have me physically as well as spiritually."
"But then the physical heart is different from the physical body, with this reasoning."
"The body part is obvious," Heechul pushed away Zhou Mi's hand. "Heart is owning my love, and I already explained the soul."
"Then can-"
Heechul clamped his hands over the other's mouth. "Be quiet, you're making me hate love at the moment. And while I don't mind, it might become a bad thing for you."
Zhou Mi watched as Heechul twiddled his fingers, staring at nothing in particular, giving out the same frustrated sigh.
"So you own all of me then in every way then?" Zhou Mi asked. Heechul pursed his lips, giving the familiar awkward frown that showed he was too embarrassed to respond.
Zhou Mi grinned when the other nodded his head, the same man tried to resume his careless and haughty expression. "Of course I do."
"Then I own all three of yours, right?"
Heechul punched his shoulder, wincing at the impact and Zhou Mi chuckled. Knowing that gesture meant in Heechul's terms, a firm yes.

Drabble #3: The Simplest Solution
Pairing: HeeHae
Rating: PG | Genre: AU!Fluff/Romance | Prompt: Persuasion
Summary: The consequences of getting what you want.
-
"We're going to what?" Donghae asks, hoping he heard wrong.
"Rob a bank, it's the only possible solution."
Donghae gaped at the other man's suggestion, because he was most likely serious. "Just because I can't go the same school as you, doesn't mean we should resort to that."
"Why not? You deserve it anyway, not those rich kids who get in with half a brain."
"Aren't you one of them though?" Donghae asked thoughtfully, Heechul banged his head with the water bottle. "I could go to another school, this wasn't the only one I was accepted to."
"No." Heechul said firmly, narrowing his eyes.
"I was even offered a-"
"No!" Heechul said loudly this time. "You're coming with me no matter what, I don't care if I have to force the money in your hands."
"I told you again and again, I don't want to touch a dime of your money."
Heechul sighed, "I still say my bank idea was a good one." Donghae shook his head. "All fun aside," Donghae arched an eyebrow as Heechul heavily sighed. "We will find a way, and since you reject my help in any shape or form, maybe I can help you get those scholarships or something."
Donghae blinked as Heechul tapped the empty bottle on the table.
Donghae then leaned in, "Why do you care so much?"
"Are you saying I shouldn't?"
"No, it's just that.. You don't usually seem this focused when it involves everyone else." He leaned back when Heechul grinned.
"Because when we start dating, it'll be problem if you're at another school. I don't like the hassle of long distance relationships."
Donghae took a moment to process and see if he heard correctly. "But... I don't feel that way about you..."
"Yet." Heechul added. Donghae quirked his head, feeling as if he missed something. "It's impossible not to like me."
"But I-"
"You will." Somehow, his words sounded final. Heechul then grabbed the bottle and stood up from the table, he smiled. "Even if you don't feel that way about me, I need to make sure you come to this place no matter what."
Donghae reached for his wrist, giving the same puzzled expression. "Does it really matter if I come here or not?"
"Of course." Heechul grinned. "I need you in my life, there's no ands, ifs or buts."

Drabble #4: Budding Attention
Pairing: ZhouRy
Rating: PG | Genre: AU!Drama/Romance | Prompt: Bizarre
Summary: He's used to all sorts of unwanted glances, hushed whispers and pointed fingers. A pair of welcome arms takes getting used to.
Henry was always acknowledged as a bizarre person, and he didn't entirely deserve the title. At least, not most of the time.
His face may have been too different, cringed and stared at, he didn't think he deserved those curious looks, some fingers who begged to touch, the same ignorant questions asked.
The facial muscles never worked properly, something about nerves he didn't entirely understand. He couldn't smile properly, laugh or make any expression of any sort without it looking strangled.
Henry tilted the hat over his eyes, hoping that somehow he'd be ignored if he kept his head low. He continued on walking when he felt a presence beside him, knowing from the corner of his eye exactly who it was.
"Good morning!" Zhou Mi greeted.
Henry moved away instantly, but the other man kept him forcibly by his side. "Leave me alone."
"But I don't want to." Zhou Mi replied, unfazed by the other's tone of voice. "Let's have lunch together."
Henry forced away his hand, escaping at the last moment. He didn't look back as he settled into a random classroom, sighing, thinking of how frustrated the other often made him. He passed his gaze over the glass boxes to the side and frowned, or at least he felt he was, his face still couldn't show it.
-
Zhou Mi was a stubborn person and hated giving up. Henry tried to escape his grasp the moment he saw him, but his constant attachment to his side made him finally relent. He hated drawing more unwanted attention to himself.
"Know I don't want to be here." Henry said, sitting on top of a desk within the empty classroom, the other standing across from him.
Zhou Mi gave a disappointed look, pursing his lips. It was amazing just how expressive this person could be, Henry was almost envious of that.
"It's okay." Zhou Mi said sincerely.
What did he mean by that?
"How would you know? You're not a freak like me." Henry chided.
"You're not a freak." Zhou Mi said, his sincerity in that statement almost made him laugh, a bitter one at least.
"You don't know how it is."
"I don't?" Zhou Mi with a small smile. Henry was immediately about to respond, but he only kept his lips parted, no words said.
He realized what he meant. He looked up to see the saddened Zhou Mi, who was known for being odd, loud, his awkward movement of his hands other hand frequently pointed out. A budding joke.
Henry suddenly felt the hat tilt over his eyes, blinding him momentarily as Zhou Mi forced it that way. "What are you doing?"
"You can't see me now, good." Henry scoffed as he tried to move the other's hands. "Now what do you think of me?"
"I don't think anything." Henry felt a slight tap on his shoulder, "Will you stop?"
"If you answer. Honestly too." Zhou Mi added sternly.
Henry sighed, his hands dropping to his side.
"I... Think you're a... You're a nice person." He finished awkwardly as he crossed his arms. He was sure he could hear the other smiling.
"And I think you're an interesting person too, a fun person to be around."
"Have you met me?" Henry retorted, earning a chuckle from the other. He opened his eyes once the hat was moved, staring straight into a grinning Zhou Mi. He wasn't sure why he felt uplifted by that.
"Do you like me yet?"
Henry blinked, chuckling from his stiffened mouth. "What kind of deluded logic is that?"
Zhou Mi sighed, "My type of deluded logic."
Henry blinked, gulping awkwardly when he realized what the other meant. "Class is going to start, we should get going."
"We?"
"Don't read into it." He quickly warned, but it did nothing to faze the other's annoying grin.
Henry for the moment thought, that if he was just as capable of showing emotion or expression, that he'd be smiling too.
