(no subject)
It's weird down here I must admit. I work 9-11 hour days, and it's hard cause I don't know my way around. But a couple of the guys are really nice. I am the only woman...except a she-man but she doesn't count. Migeul is 23 and married with a baby, so we are close in age but that's it. Kenny is cool, he;s a wanna be tattoo artist, and 27, kind of cute too, I was with him for 9 hours one day and I don't think I learned anything I was laughing so hard. He's kind of short, so when we were listening to this rap song I asked him if he would be my shortie. He's loved me ever since! Scotty, I think may be gay because he loves my fingernails....that was a red flag right there! But he has kids and a girlfriend so who knows. Charlie is halarious. One of those guys that doesn't want to grow up even tho he's almost 40! and Lance is my Native friend....hahaha. Okay so work is okay, just a lot of really rude rednecks and hispanics, and NO WOMEN, which doesn't really bother me too much. *wink* *wink* My bosses boss is trying to convince me to go into construction management. He said they would fly me out every summer for training and I would start out with 50,000 a year. Not too bad, except if you consider living expenses ya know.
Went to CA this weekend which was sort of a blast. Sea world was cool, I loved the shows. Shamu was awesome and I took losts of pics. Plus the ocean is beautiful. Universal was a blast tho!!! I was on the set of Desperate Housewives which was great. I knew the houses...hahaha, plus I saw bits of movie sets, like JAWS, King Kong, Backdraft, Jurassic Park, Bruce Almighty....and they are starting to build a set for the Bruce Almighty sequel which was cool! The rides were awesome. I got a pick when I was coming down the rollar coaster and I'm screaming, it is so funny!
Oh and I saw X-MEN III, It was so cool. I may be buying that too!
I miss all my friends. Even the one I don't know that well. It's weird when you know you will see someone again, but still, you know you CAN'T see them for a while. It sort of bums me out.
