Because I get brave now and then...

Nov 24, 2004 19:40

So pretty much everyone knows I've been reading HP slash for a while now (and if you didn't, you do now. *g*). Anyway, I've been writing popslash for years, but I'm easing my way into writing HP slash. I have a few things done, but I haven't posted anything yet. I'm feeling brave tonight, though, so I'll post a short one. Here's the cliff notes ( Read more... )

You.Are.My.Hero ;-) I've always loved what you've written and your new interest in HP slash is no different. I aspire to be a novel writer, and often times look to you and your stories for inspiration. I would never plagerize...I'm very picky about words and it can take days sometimes to find the perfect word and make a perfect sentence, and I would never steal your words from you. You are a true inspiration to me, though, and I look to you and your stories for new ideas or just to keep myself going or to be brave enough to start anew. I know that you only asked for comments on your first HP story but I just thought now was as good of a time as any to tell you how much I look up to you. I wanted to be sure you knew that so that if you ever had a doubt about your fiction and thought no one liked it or everyone stopped liking it, you would know that they haven't: we always have and always will love it. I can't tell you how many times I'll go and reread my favorite drabble just because it was so wonderful, or how many times I send a ( ... )

aww, that's so sweet of you to say. *blushes* Thanks so much for the feedback and I'm glad I inspire you even a little. I love writing and do it far more often than I post. I have dozens of stories I've started and never finished just because I get an idea but it leaves me before I'm done. Then i have those stories that just don't want to stop. I have an HP story that needs betaing, but it's 300 pages and I'd never ask anyone to widdle their way through it. LOL. Again, thanks for the feedback. You made me smile. :)

I'm so happy I could make you smile. I meant every word I said.
I know exactly what you mean about some ideas are 300+ pages long and you can't find some sort of conclusion, and then others that you start writing but can't finish because the idea has floated away. It's very frustrating, but in a weird way, I really love it. I'd love to read anything else you have and would love to help if you ever need it. I'm especially good at finding the exact word with its connotation and everything that you need to perfectly describe a situation, event, person, etc. I'd love to help if you ever need it, but also enjoy being an idle fan, patiently awaiting your next masterpiece.

Oh the 300 page fic is written. Done. finished. No more. LOL. It's 69 chapters, and no, i didn't plan it that way. If you're ever really really really bored, let me know and i'll upload it somewhere or e-mail it to you. It's 1MB so it's a huge word file just to warn you. It's HP/SS and spans two years. Oi, that muse just wouldn't quit.

Wow! That's amazing! (And the number of chapters is quite humerous!) I don't have time right now, but after finals in a couple weeks I'll be bored out of my mind so I may be asking for that in the second week of December, if you'd really let me read it. Thanks in advance!
