Chemistry Lab
Today was a great day in Lab. We had to test where the hottest part of the flame is on a Bunsen Burner. We got to burn a piece of wire and chalk. My friend ,Andrei, used a red hot piece of wire to poke a hole in the tube from the gas to the burner. He didnt poke it all the way through but it caused smoke to come from the burned rubber on the tube. Also we put a burned piece of chalk thats still hot under running water and it exploded it was so cool. And we squeezed the gas tube and the flame went down.
My other friend, Edgar, in another class had the same lab and almost burned his hand when trying to light the burner with a match.
