kinda bummed - talked to Jeanette this morning and if Jen goes to Kean, she's staying home :-( I think she should live there, especially now when the classes are easier and she needs to make friends. whaaa- you are not on IM right now...just wanted to chat- aunt to aunt :-) i had another sex talk with my niece last night. i am at a loss. she wants to do it. her BF seems like a nice guy & they have been together a couple years. i think she is feeling a lot of pressure & a lot of hormones, and can't hold out much longer. however her mom won't even talk to her about it. i hated when my mom did that to me. i never really wanted kids, but if i did have them, i was gonna do that part differently. kids can't know too much when they get o be that age. i guess i did the best thing i could do by trying to gently remind her that she is really young and that there will be plenty of time for that, and reminding her that it is ultimately her choice and i trusted that she will make the right decision- whichever way she goes. WHAAA my little niece all grown up!!!

Only advice I can give Jen? Become who you Are - you can't spend your whole life trying to please others - its impossible. And, the quickest way to the therapists couch!
Guess that is why I feel really bad about her not going away - she will be getting bitched at by Jeanette until she leaves... I can't say anything because I know Jen - she can't lie she'll tell Jeanette I said so :-(
Sometimes I think this is harder to be an Aunt - our hands are tied and you know we know better than our sisters ;-)
