Shiroi Hi Dansu
So this past Saturday was the White Day dance over in the (very small) town of Jenks. I went with John and it was pretty cute. ^^ It was hosted by this anime club cosplaying practically the whole cast of Ouran Host Club and setup all cute like a school dance in the gym. ^^ I slaved away to finish Shinku on time, and I did, well mostly. XD I've found more than a few things to improve before AniZona but I'm glad I was able to give it a test run for a few hours before being stuck in it all day. I really like this costume. ^____^ The wig was hell but it's nothing compared to my next wig project. x.x
I got to see Jenny again and a few other con friends from the area, but the turnout was less than I hoped. :( I got first place individual in the costume contest. I think the best part was getting to para para dance. ^^ And the girls recognized me as Ai Kago from Mini Con!! How cool is that that people still recognise me in different costumes? =D It made me sort of sad that I didn't do a Jpop performance at this event. I wanted to do Jiriri Kiteru again since not many people saw it at Ikkicon but somebody who didn't even end up GOING had to get upset over it. >.<; Ugh drama. Uhm well anyway at least there was another Jpop performance, Roxey and her group did a medly of KAT-TUN songs which I thought was pretty cool. =D
